FAQs
No. We work with startups, innovators, researchers, working professionals, students, and technology teams that have the potential to develop products, solutions, or scalable ventures.
Not necessarily. If you have identified a real problem and are working on a solution, we can help you validate the opportunity, understand customer needs, and define the next steps towards building a viable product or venture. But the technology that solves the problem should be a deep tech that emerges from scientific discovery.
Yes. Many founders approach us after developing a prototype and need support with testing, product refinement, pilot deployments, manufacturing readiness, customer access, partnerships, or fundraising
Most incubators provide mentoring, networking, and startup programs. The Venture Studio takes a more hands-on approach, it is a co-founder platform building together with the founders through product strategies, design & development, hardware design, market penetration, business strategy, fundraising readiness, and commercialization activities.
Not always. Some activities may require in-person engagement, but many interventions, mentoring sessions, reviews, and startup support activities can be delivered through a hybrid model depending on the startup's requirements.
The Venture Studio does not automatically provide funding to every startup. However, we help founders become investment-ready, identify relevant grants, connect with investors, and explore funding opportunities suited to their stage of growth.
Yes. The iTNT Venture Studio takes an equity stake up to 5% in startups that are onboarded into the Venture Studio. Equity has both fixed and variable components.
Applications are evaluated based on:
- Problem being solved
- Innovation potential
- Team capability
- Technology readiness
- Market opportunity
- Scalability potential
The goal is to identify ventures that can benefit most from structured venture-building support. Also, there is an expert committee that evaluates the venture candidates and recommend the ventures to be onboarded to the cohort.
That's completely acceptable. We work with researchers and innovators who are exploring how their technology can be translated into products, services, or startup opportunities.
- Product development
- Hardware design guidance
- Business strategy
- Investor readiness
- Grant support
- Industry connections
- Pilot opportunities
- IP and patent guidance
- Market access support, etc
Yes. One of the key objectives of the Venture Studio is to help startups connect with industry, government, research institutions, and ecosystem partners that can support product validation and early market adoption.
Absolutely. Student innovators with strong ideas, prototypes, or research-led technologies are encouraged to apply.
There is no fixed duration. The level and duration of engagement depend on the startup's stage, objectives, and support requirements. From the experience usually it takes 3-5 years for a deep tech venture to mature.
The Venture Studio team reviews each application and may conduct further discussions to understand:
- The problem being addressed
- Technology readiness
- Team capabilities
- Support requirements
Suitable applicants may then be invited for the next stage of evaluation and onboarding.
The Venture Studio is designed for innovators and startups that need more than mentoring. If you are looking for help with building products, validating markets, accessing partners, preparing for fundraising, or moving from prototype to commercial deployment, the Venture Studio may be a good fit.
Industry partners can collaborate by:
- Offering pilot opportunities
- Defining challenge statements
- Supporting product validation
- Co-developing solutions
- Connecting startups with real-world use cases
Investors can connect with curated startups that are actively progressing through structured venture-building interventions and are working toward commercialization and growth milestones.
